Tough Love Nutrition Supports Lance Armstrong's LiveSTRONG

“As with so many other families, within a five year span mine was very close to the realities of living with and dying of cancer. During this time period, I sadly lost a grandmother, father-in-law and more recently, my dad.

He was diagnosed with BAC in 2002. This type of lung cancer is not common and currently has no cure (although more 'extended life' therapies are thankfully now available). He hung in strong for 6-years before passing peacefully and content that he was able to accomplish all of his goals in life (most importantly being with his family).

My dad and I became much more familiar with Lance Armstrong's accomplishments and commitment to cancer research with his 2005 (and seventh) win of the Tour de France. We went from being complete strangers to the sport of cycling to watching every stage of the tour. I was also inspired to read "It's Not About The Bike"—which completely engrossed, finished it in two sittings. There are many messages woven in to the passages of this book that can educate, inspire and help prepare the reader to take on cancer with a vengeance.

It is a commitment from Tough Love Nutrition to help the LiveSTRONG mission by contributing a portion of proceeds from every consulting engagement to the Lance Armstrong Foundation”—TLN Founder Phil LeClair
